St. John's college held an Annual event of college's week, and in that event - Debate Competition was one of them.

The Debate Competition was hot and interesting on the theme " who is Better Brain or Beauty?  All the contestants have exhausted their idea except the two: Mr Brain and Mrs Beauty; they continued confronting and fighting each other.

Mr Brain said; Brain is much better than beauty because without a brain you cannot live. 

Mrs Beauty: I objected to your idea because without beauty your brain will tell you I'm not looking good enough, I'm not handsome and the Consequence is Low self_ esteem.

Mr Brain: My dear Mrs Beauty now you're going to the psychology part, but do you know that rational and reasonable people use the brain not emotion. Human beings involve the Brain in every activity of their life. Let me tell you, how do you describe beauty in your opinion?

Mr Beauty: For me, Beauty is in the heart, it's more than a masterpiece of art because everyone is unique and beautiful and all appearance is Gods gift to each one;  The things and objects, beauty is everything, but you may not see it.

Mr Brain: you're right in defining beauty but when you say beauty is everything I have an objection. How Can you see beauty without the brain? I think it's the brain that tells you who is beautiful and handsome or good locking. If you go only with the beauty you may face lots of problems. For instance:

There was a young lad who always look at beautiful girls and one day he decided to marry the most beautiful girl and only after they married,  her true colours came out, she married him only for money and his big company while he married her because she is too beautiful and love her but she never takes care of him or the house. Then only he understood and come to his sense that he did not use his brain but he used only his eyes, and emotions. the sad thing is that within six months they divorce. 

Mrs Beauty: How Can you bring only one example, there were/ are lots of Couples who live happily and they are both beautiful and handsome.

Mr Brain; See, Mrs Beauty I have heard and seen a lot of disruption in a family, in society and one simple treason is that they don't use their brain. Because Brain or intellectual thinking using prudence is God's gift to us. Human beings unlike animals who go by instinct and are programmed but we humans are not and we suppose to act according to our human nature. Mrs Beauty, will you marry a handsome guy without knowing his behaviour and family background or he may not truly love you?

Mrs Beauty: Of course, I will never marry a person or stranger, beauty adds colour to my life and beauty is in you and me. 

Mr Brain: there you're Mrs Beauty So, will you accept Brain is better than beauty?

Mrs Beauty: I'm not saying yes or no but now  I understood both are important in my life and Society. 

Anchor: you have been fighting and confronting so long and no one can agree who is better.  I will declare who is the winner. So, the winner of the debate Competition is that no one wins, because I too and the judges find it difficult to say who is better but most of us here would say that Brain is much better than beauty because our eyes may deceive us but our brain will never.  Though beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder but brain involves our intellectual capacity and reasoning power in our sight and judgement,  even the dark is beautiful in its way. So Brain first and better.  All the audiences gave a standing ovation.
